The Chuck Jones Gallery proudly presents the Chuck Jones ‘Golden Age of Animation’ Art Exhibit inside the San Diego Comic-Con Museum, an exclusive showcase of one of the most influential animators in cinematic history. This month-long exhibit offers a rare opportunity to explore the works of Chuck Jones, the creative mind behind some of the most iconic animated characters ever brought to the screen.
The Chuck Jones Gallery is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its seasonal Pop-Up Gallery at the iconic Gardens on El Paseo, running from November 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025. Located in Suite 2516, between Agency and Sullivan’s, this vibrant destination invites art lovers and visitors to explore the art gallery daily from 11 AM to 5 PM, with special late hours on First Fridays, including November 1st until 7 PM. Please note that Wednesdays are available by appointment only. This season, the gallery will unveil an enchanting selection of artworks from The Art of Dr. Seuss Collection. Visitors can explore and acquire pieces inspired by Dr. Seuss’s beloved children’s books and The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss, a captivating collection featuring works created by Dr. Seuss for his own enjoyment over the years. In addition to the magical Dr. Seuss collection, the gallery will offer an array of artworks by animation legends Chuck Jones, Tom Everhart, and Charles Schulz, featuring the entire PEANUTS gang. We are excited to announce that the legendary Emmy Award-winning director and artist Larry Leichliter will join us for an exclusive live meet-and-greet at the Chuck Jones Gallery! Join us on November 22nd from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM for this special event, following the screenings of two timeless Peanuts classics: the 1973 television special A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and the beloved 1965 holiday favorite A Charlie Brown Christmas, shown on Seaport Village's Wonderfront Stage. In addition to meeting Larry Leichliter, exclusive Peanuts art will be available, including the premiere of a new limited edition of A Charlie Brown Christmas. This exclusive artwork will be unveiled at the event, making it a must-see for Peanuts fans and collectors. Larry Leichliter’s remarkable animation career started in 1975 with You're a Good Sport, Charlie Brown.
