American portrait artist, Fran Lew, has been honored by the Sherwin
Miller Museum of Jewish Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma with the permanent
placement of her monumental portrait, “Lead Us in Peace unto Zion” at
the museum’s newly built, Sanditen/Kaiser Holocaust Center, the only
Center of its type in the American mid-west.

In addition, a second exhibition, “Women’s Art from the Collection” is
on exhibit through 2021 and features Lew’s sensitive portrait study of
Golda Meir that became the central figure in her larger, “Lead Us in
Peace unto Zion”.

Mickel Yantz, Director of Collections & Exhibitions at the Sherwin Miller
Museum of Jewish Art said, “The Holocaust Center is a permanent exhibition
expected to receive thousands of guests and regular school groups each year…and
we are honored to have these fantastic artworks from Ms. Lew in our collection
and on display for our guests to discover and enjoy.”

Congratulations, Fran Lew!
