The amazing artist John Alvin has created many iconic original and limited edition works of art. He is truly a legend and icon in the art world! 

This rare, limited-edition artwork was created by artist, John Alvin from his vast portfolio of original and limited-edition works of art. 

One of the most celebrated contemporary American cinematic artist-painter, John Henry Alvin (1948 - 2008) illustrated many movie posters. Alvin created posters and key art for more than 135 films, beginning with the poster for Mel Brooks's Blazing Saddles. His style of art became known as Alvinesque by friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry. 

The inspiration for this work of art came from an original work by John Alvin based on the 1957 animated film, What's Opera, Doc? The 1957 animated film, What's Opera, Doc? was directed by Chuck Jones and written by Michael Maltese. Starring Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, it was the first cartoon inducted into the National Film Registry of the Smithsonian Institute in 1992. The 50 Greatest Cartoons by Jerry Beck listed "What's Opera, Doc?" as the number one favorite animated film as voted by 1000 animation critics, artists, and aficionados. 

The Limited Edition artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
