Inspired by a Joni Mitchell song called “Coyote”, Markus Pierson explores the motif of the coyote in paintings, drawings, mixed-media sculpture, hand-pulled serigraphs, and found object assemblage. He has had nearly one hundred solo exhibitions in galleries across America, Australia, and New Zealand, while also being featured at various prestigious international fairs including Art Miami, Artexpo New York, Sofa Chicago, Chicago Contemporary & Classic, and palmbeach3. Markus has amassed a collector base that includes Heads of State, major corporations, and celebrities worldwide.
The inspiration for this work of art came from an original work by Markus Pierson based on his Coyote Series.
