The inspiration for this work of art came from Chuck Jones's study of the human form. The number of editions made was very limited (worldwide) “The Study" is a very hard work of art to find.
Jones was a lifelong devotee of life drawing and this drawing, along with many others in the Chuck Jones Incognito collection was created in the 1950s and 1960s. His brilliant use of charcoal as a medium with its highlights and chiaroscuro helps define the character of the model setting the mood and tone of the work.
The Limited Edition artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
