The Official Chuck Jones Virtual Experience proudly presents “Swing for the Fences,” a limited-edition Disney artwork by artist Tim Rogerson.
Tim Rogerson is renowned for his dynamic, vibrant, and highly expressive Disney artwork. In 2009, he was named Official Artist of Disney’s first-ever D23 Expo, where he created In The Company of Legends, now part of the Disney archives.
He has also served as Official Artist for Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival, Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary, and Mickey’s 90th Celebration. Among his many honors, Rogerson painted a portrait of Oprah Winfrey as Mrs. Which for A Wrinkle in Time, demonstrating his skill in blending pop culture, storytelling, and fine art.
In “Swing for the Fences,” Goofy pitches a playful swirly ball to Donald Duck while Mickey Mouse crouches as catcher, ready to spring into action if Donald strikes out. This lively scene captures the humor, charm, and timeless energy of Disney’s beloved characters through Rogerson’s vibrant brushwork and dynamic storytelling.
