The Academy Award-winning animation director-artist, Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) has created many memorable hit TV shows, movies, and short films. He is truly a legend and icon in the art world!  

This rare limited edition artwork was created by animation director-artist, Chuck Jones from his vast portfolio of original and limited edition works of art. 

The inspiration for this work of art came from an original oil painting by Chuck Jones and is a historic moment from one of the most beloved Chuck Jones cartoons, Bully for Bugs.

"Stop Steamin' Up My Tail" uniquely captures the spirit of his originality and expert technique. Famously told by producer Eddie Selzer to "never make a cartoon about a bullfight because bullfights aren't funny," Jones and his writer, Mike Maltese, couldn't but help but think that since "Eddie had never been right about anything before", a bullfight would be funny. "Bully for Bugs" premiered in theaters nationwide on August 8, 1953.
