The inspiration for this work of art came from the 1956 animated short, Rocket-Bye Baby directed by Chuck Jones. The cartoon follows the adventures of baby, Mot from Mars who ends up on Earth after the planets pass close to each other and create a 'cosmic force'. Chuck Jones puts an imaginative spin on the alien invasion craze that was prevalent following World War 2.
