The legendary animation director-artist, Chuck Jones (1912-2002) has created many iconic original and limited edition works of art. He is truly a legend and icon in the art world!
This limited edition artwork was created by animation director-artist, Chuck Jones from his vast portfolio of original and limited edition works of art.
The inspiration for this work of art came from the character, Private Snafu, a cartoon character designed for military recruits. These cartoon shorts were a series of black-and-white American instructional adult animated shorts, ironic and humorous in tone, that were produced between 1943 and 1945 during World War II. Private Snafu was an adorable dolt who sounded like Bugs Bunny and looked a bit like Elmer Fudd. And in every episode, he taught soldiers what not to do, from blabbing about troop movements to not taking malaria medication.
Lobby cards were introduced in the 1910s to complement movie posters and were designed for display in the lobbies or foyers of movie theaters, advertising dramatic, key scenes from the movie or highlighting popular actors.
The Limited Edition artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
