The inspiration for this work of art came from created from an original by Chuck Jones from the 1955 animated short, 'One Froggy Evening' featuring Michigan J. Frog. In 1994, this cartoon short was voted No. 5 of The 50 Greatest Cartoons of all time by members of the animation field. One Froggy Evening was inducted into the National Film Registry in 2003.
