The American cartoonist-creator, Charles Schulz (1922 - 2000) has created many memorable hit TV shows, movies, and short films. He is truly a legend and icon in the art world!

This rare, limited-edition artwork was created from an original by American cartoonist-creator, Charles Schulz from his vast portfolio of original and limited edition works of art.

The inspiration for this work of art came from an original artwork archived at the studio. Charles Schulz's PEANUTS comic strip was one of very few comics to address in a simple and elegant way the nature of life itself. Failure, love, friendship, sorrow, and happiness all were quietly discussed with humor and insight by this American master. This limited edition was featured in the second Peanut's television special, 1966, "Charlie Brown All Stars".

This hand-painted and hand-inked limited edition animation cel set-up, features a multi-pose Charlie Brown, as he races up the stairs to catch that fly ball and be the hero! This is a 2-layer cel set-up; the stairs' railings are on the top level and Charlie Brown is on the 2nd level. A giclée storyboard print, based on original art created by Larry Leichliter, depicts the action in the scene, accompanies the cel set-up, and is signed by Larry Leichliter. Both bear the studio seal of authenticity and are serial numbered.
