Moonshadow

The Official Chuck Jones Virtual Experience proudly presents “Moonshadow,” a limited-edition work by Tom Everhart, the only artist authorized to use PEANUTS® characters created by Charles M. Schulz.

Tom Everhart (1952–present) began his collaboration with Charles M. Schulz’s iconic PEANUTS characters after studying Schulz’s original drawings. In 1991, he received exclusive lifetime rights to translate PEANUTS imagery into fine art, creating a distinctive practice that connects contemporary painting with one of the most beloved comic legacies in history.

Everhart’s international career includes exhibitions in major galleries worldwide and a celebrated debut at the Louvre Museum. His art transforms Schulz’s understated line work into bold, expressive compositions filled with emotion, humor, and psychological depth while preserving the essence of the original characters.

Acclaimed artist Tom Everhart created this limited-edition artwork from his extensive portfolio of original and collectible works. In Moonshadow, Snoopy appears against an expressive landscape of electric blues, vivid pinks, translucent whites, and luminous bursts of fluorescent color. Layered washes, spontaneous brushwork, and playful splashes create a striking sense of movement and visual energy, while Snoopy’s distinctive black-and-white presence anchors the composition.

Bold, colorful, and unmistakably Everhart, Moonshadow offers collectors a fresh, contemporary interpretation of an iconic PEANUTS character. Through his expressive approach, Everhart transforms the familiar simplicity of Schulz’s line work into a vibrant composition that celebrates Snoopy’s enduring personality and appeal.

The Moonshadow Limited Edition artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
