This rare, limited-edition artwork was created from an original by American cartoonist-creator, Charles Schulz from his vast portfolio of original and limited edition works of art.
The inspiration for this work of art came from an original ink and paint book cover illustration attributed to animation designer-artist, Ed Levitt.
“The style, the talent and the attention to the characters…there is only one person who could have done this piece in 1967, it’s Ed!,” S. Melendez.
Ed Levitt not only worked on some of the most beloved classic Disney animated features including Pinocchio, Fantasia, and Bambi, he worked on 12 Charlie Brown television specials working with Melendez Studios. Levitt created the cover for the storybook version of 'It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' where he captured Snoopy’s joy in the Halloween special.
The Limited Edition artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
