The Official Chuck Jones Virtual Experience proudly presents “Hope Springs Eternal”, a limited-edition artwork by the legendary animation director and artist Chuck Jones.
The legendary animation director and artist Chuck Jones (1912–2002) created iconic original and limited edition works that continue to inspire animation fans and collectors. Known for his brilliant storytelling, expressive characters, and timeless humor, Jones transformed animation history with masterpieces like Duck Amuck, One Froggy Evening, and What’s Opera, Doc?.
This limited-edition artwork was created in honor of the 70th anniversary of the first appearance of the iconic Looney Tunes characters, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, in the Chuck Jones-directed short Fast and Furry-ous.
Inspired by American philosopher George Santayana’s quote, “A fanatic is someone who redoubles his effort when he has forgotten his aim,” the artwork humorously captures Wile E. Coyote’s relentless—and often misguided—pursuit of the Road Runner. Evoking the charm of mid-20th-century Americana, including the beloved Burma Shave highway signs, this artwork blends wit, history, and animation mastery.
Every Hope Springs Eternal Limited Edition artwork includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
