The inspiration for these original works of art came from the 1973 Chuck Jones-directed animated film, 'A Very Merry Cricket' based upon the characters from George Selden's 1960 book 'The Cricket in Times Square.' It was a sequel to the acclaimed adaptation of 'A Cricket In Times Square' and was followed by another holiday sequel 'Yankee Doodle Cricket.'
The Original Production artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
