A world-renowned Disney and Star Wars artist, Rodel Gonzalez began painting as a child and is a third-generation painter, musician, and singer having achieved great success in all his creative endeavors.
After co-founding the highly popular Filipino band Side A, touring the world, and living his dreams as a musician, Rodel retired from professional music to return to his first love - painting. Today, Rodel is known for his interplay of light and shadows, details in expressions and structures, and depicts a mood to which every viewer can relate.

This rare, limited-edition artwork was created from an original by Rodel Gonzalez.

The inspiration for this work of art came from the Star Wars film sagas with Yoda holding his lightsaber in a fight between Good Vs. Evil.

Yoda rarely if ever drew his lightsaber, preferring to work in more subtle ways. But the Jedi Grand-master remained a formidable warrior, as Count Dooku and Darth Sidious discovered when they confronted Yoda in battle. Yoda’s lightsaber was smaller than a standard Jedi lightsaber, befitting his shorter stature. But its green plasma blade was every bit as deadly in combat. - Star Wars
