The inspiration for this artwork came from the 1949 Chuck Jones-directed animated short, Frigid Hare starring Bugs Bunny and Playboy Penguin. While traveling to Miami Beach for an overdue vacation, the legendary icon Bugs Bunny mistakenly ends up at the South Pole, having yet again missed the left turn at Albuquerque.
