The inspiration for this work of art came from the 1952 Chuck Jones-directed animated short, Feed the Kitty. The cartoon features Marc Anthony, a burly bulldog, and a kitten named Pussyfoot. Marc Anthony appears in several Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts. He is usually brown with a tan and is a very tough and intimidating presence, but he is also capable of great tenderness and affection, particularly towards Pussyfoot the kitten, who he falls for in Feed the Kitty.
The Limited Edition artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
