The inspiration for this work of art came from an original by Chuck Jones based on the Looney Tunes character, Charlie Dog who was featured in nine cartoons between 1941 and 1958. This work is one of 20 chalk drawings that Chuck Jones created in 1997 for the 20th Anniversary Portfolio celebrating the 20th Anniversary of his daughter's company (his publisher and representative), Linda Jones Enterprises.
The Limited Edition artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
