The American creator and producer, Jay Ward produced animated series based on such classic characters as Rocky & Bullwinkle, Boris and Natasha, Dudley Do-Right, Peabody and Sherman, Hoppity Hooper, George of the Jungle, Tom Slick, and Super Chicken.
The inspiration for this work of art came from an original work by Jay Ward Productions. In 1963, Jay Ward designed Cap'n Crunch for Quaker Oats, and one of America's most popular and enduring breakfast cereals was born. From the early 1960s into the 1980s the Jay Ward Studio produced animated television commercials featuring Cap'n, his crew of kids and dogs, cereal-stealer Jean LaFoote, and other characters to promote the cereal.
