A world-renowned Disney and Star Wars artist, Rodel Gonzalez began painting as a child and is a third-generation painter, musician, and singer having achieved great success in all his creative endeavors.
After co-founding the highly popular Filipino band Side A, touring the world, and living his dreams as a musician, Rodel retired from professional music to return to his first love - painting. Today, Rodel is known for his interplay of light and shadows, details in expressions and structures, and depicts a mood to which every viewer can relate.

This rare, limited-edition artwork was created from an original by Rodel Gonzalez.

The inspiration for this work of art came from Star Wars when the Rebel Alliance flew away from the soon-to-be-destroyed Death Star.

The Battle of Yavin, also known as the Battle of the Death Star, or as the Miracle of Yavin, was a major battle of the Galactic Civil War that led to the destruction of the first Death Star. It was a crippling blow to the Empire and one of the  Rebel Alliance's first major victories.- Star Wars
