Ben Olson is a Contemporary Artist and Animation Director based in Central Florida, celebrated for his vibrant, expressive works that pay homage to beloved characters from sports, film, and animation.

His distinctive style—defined by bold color, dynamic energy, and a playful sense of nostalgia—reflects his deep love for cinema, comics, and iconic storytelling.

A licensed Disney, Warner Bros., and Hanna-Barbera Fine Artist, Olson continues to bridge the worlds of fine art and animation. His most recent directorial debut, created in collaboration with Bad Robot and Warner Bros., is an animated short for the Max series Duster—a heartfelt tribute to Chuck Jones’ Fast and Furry-ous.

The project marked a career highlight for Olson, working directly with legendary filmmaker J.J. Abrams and his Bad Robot team on this dream collaboration.

Deeply inspired by animation legend Chuck Jones, Olson found a fitting artistic home with the Chuck Jones Gallery.

Refusing to be confined by a single style or medium, Olson draws influence from artistic giants like Picasso, Peter Max, and Monet, infusing their inspiration into his own modern interpretations defined by harmony, movement, and color.
