With frequent episodes of asthma as a child, Napoleoni was often kept indoors, where he found solace in drawing. His dream was initially to break into th music industry, but in 2004, everything changed with the birth of his daughter, who was diagnosed with a severe heart condition.

This challenging time shaped Napoleoni’s artistic voice. His grief and hope converged into the creation of his signature character, Marcenivo—a stitched, tattered figure that symbolizes resilience and the pursuit of love and happiness. Marcenivo ‘s story is not just Napoleoni’s; it reflects a universal tale of enduring and overcoming life’s hardships.

Marcenivo became Napoleoni’s outlet for channeling frustration and finding a path to healing. The character’s relatable, human-like characteristics and gender-neutral design enable all fans and collectors to see a part of themselves in him, regardless of their age or background.
