Chuck Jones Gallery Pop Up in Palm Desert

The Chuck Jones Gallery has opened its seasonal Pop-Up gallery in the famed shopping mecca, the Gardens on El Paseo. Located in suite 1126 (next door to Todd & Co., across from Saks Fifth Avenue), the gallery will be open starting January 05, 2022 daily from 11 to 5 PM with Mondays by appointment.

“The Gardens on El Paseo in Palm Desert is truly the perfect location for our annual seasonal gallery”, according to Michael Fiacco, Director of Special Exhibitions for the Chuck Jones Galleries. “El Paseo is a world-class art gallery destination. And locals and visitors alike especially love the fun, whimsical Pop Art that we offer. It makes people smile and evokes happy memories. This year marks the Chuck Jones Gallery’s 5th consecutive season at the Gardens”.

The gallery, founded in 1991 by the renowned film director and four-time Academy Award recipient, Chuck Jones, and his daughter Linda Jones Clough, in the seaside community of Corona del Mar, California, presents the finest in the art of American Pop Culture. Creator of such immortal Looney Tunes characters as Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner and one of the fathers of the iconic Bugs Bunny, Jones was a classically trained artist and graduate of Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles.

Chuck Jones Gallery will share a compelling selection of artworks from The Art of Dr. Seuss Collection during their tenure at the Gardens on El Paseo. Visitors can explore and acquire works from Dr. Seuss’s best-known children’s books, as well as The Secret Art of Dr. Seuss, a mind-expanding collection based on decades of artwork that Dr. Seuss created at night for his own personal pleasure.

In addition to the art of Dr. Seuss, the gallery exhibits and sells the work of its namesake, animation legend, Chuck Jones, as well as that of Tom Everhart, Charles Schulz, and the entire PEANUTS gang, along with works from all major animation studios, including Marvel and DC Comics.

The gallery is located at the Gardens on El Paseo, Suite 1126, and is open every day from 11 AM to 5 PM starting on January 05, 2002. Mondays by appointment.
