Exploring the World of Wrabbit™: A Transmedia Art Collection

Wrabbit 2490

Out of his crate and out of the lab, Wrabbit™ is now available to add to your Animation and Pop Art collections. As one of our (and the world’s) most enduring and beloved cartoon characters, Bugs Bunny is rooted in art and pop culture.

Keeping with this tradition, the Chuck Jones family has teamed up with ACME LABS™ and has released its first-ever transmedia art collection featuring Wrabbit™, a lost character pulled from the Chuck Jones archives.

Acclaimed Chuck Jones Gallery artist Ben Olson (from the Conquer Earth series and more) modernized the collection of authenticated digital and fine art prints available only via ACME LABS™. Chuck Jones created Wrabbit™ in the 1980s as cover art for a rock album. Explore the art collection HERE.

It’s Wrabbit™ Season!

Olson was commissioned to maintain the original rock ‘n’ roll attitude of Wrabbit™ while modernizing him for 2023 with distinctive memorabilia and humorous nods to some of our favorite Classic cartoons conveyed within a parody theme. See how many cartoon references you can find in these exclusive artworks! The reinterpreted art features several elements to rejuvenate the design while respecting its provenance.

Animation legend Chuck Jones was the key creative force behind Looney Tunes cartoons and possibly the most memorable and enduring set of characters in history, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E Coyote, Marvin the Martian, and many others. And, Chuck Jones collectors will recognize detailed aspects that pay tribute to the legendary animator’s style and legacy.

Bugs Bunny is lured to the lair of a mad scientist in Hare-Raising Hare.

This one-of-a-kind art will be released in four series (both fine art prints and digital editions). Olson’s colorful, expressive approach to his art and homage to Chuck Jones is woven into his interpretation of the beloved nostalgia of Chuck Jones and Bugs Bunny while maintaining the essence and spirit of the character and creation.

“Chuck Jones has been a leading creative influence on me since I was little. To have the opportunity to work with a character he created and bring Wrabbit™ to life in this form with his style has been an amazing honor,” commented Ben Olson.

Welcome to the wacky world of “A Tiki Scare is No Fair” with Scooby and the Gang in Pineapple Parlor.

In addition to Wrabbit™, collectors will also find limited series of backgrounds and landscapes from iconic cartoons “Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century,” “Fast and Furry-ous,” “Hair-Raising Hare” and “Scooby Doo.”

These limited-edition artworks have never been offered to the public before. The Limited-Edition Fine Art Prints include a Digital Certificate of Authenticity to authenticate and track the ownership of the art. Only 250 fine art prints of each animation masterpiece are available now.
