This rare, limited-edition artwork was created by animation director-artist, Chuck Jones from his vast portfolio of original and limited-edition works of art.
The inspiration for this work of art came from an original by Chuck Jones based on the 60th anniversary of Marvin the Martian. Identified in the original script of the 1948 Chuck Jones-directed Haredevil Hare as Commander X-2, Marvin along with his faithful companion K-9 landed on the moon in a mission from Mars to obliterate the Earth. Working with Michael Maltese, his long-time storyman, Jones created one of his most memorable characters in X-2, a character so focused on universal domination that he was impervious to disaster.
The Limited Edition artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
