Happy birthday Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote!
These two have been my favorite cartoon characters since I was a toddler. If you’re interested, I paid a little birthday tribute to them (and Chuck, of course) on my own blog. Here’s the link:

I just wanted to let you know that this is a great blog and even though I never comment on it, I read it all the time. Chuck Jones was one of my greatest heroes, and I really appreciate a blog devoted to him, ESPECIALLY that it’s run by one of his family members. You have no idea how lucky you are.
No matter how the characters evolved, Wile E. never evolved if you know what I mean.

These guys are the reason I got interested in animation, and why Jones is my favorite director. These films alone are enough to justify his reputation. I will always love ’em! >HMEEP-HMEEP!<
