Created from a Chuck Jones oil painting, this limited edition uniquely captures the spirit of his originality and expert technique. Famously told by producer Eddie Selzer to “never make a cartoon about a bullfight because bullfights aren’t funny,” Jones and his writer, Mike Maltese, couldn’t but help think that since “Eddie had never been right about anything before”, a bullfight would be funny. “Bully for Bugs” premiered in theaters nationwide on August 8, 1953.
