This rare, limited-edition artwork was created by animation director-artist, Chuck Jones from his vast portfolio of original and limited-edition works of art.
The inspiration for this rare, original one-of-a-kind watercolor by the legendary, Chuck Jones is based on the Looney Tunes character, Pepé Le Pew.
As the youngest graduate of Chouinard Art Institute, Chuck Jones was a master of life studies, oil paintings, watercolors, landscapes, and still life. His watercolors are an extension of his genius as a storyteller and artist. They capture moments inspired by his classic cartoons, as well as his vibrant, whimsical imagination. The use of colors, and shading, along with his extraordinarily powerful lines are subtle yet dramatic. Chuck Jones captures the human condition in each of these exceptional watercolors. Is it any wonder that Chuck Jones is one of the most influential artists over the last 80+ years? Any of these would be a wonderful addition to one’s art collection.
