Fast and Furry-ous

The Official Chuck Jones Virtual Experience is pleased to offer LOONEY TUNES fans “Fast and Furry-ous,” a limited-edition Director’s Cut work by Chuck Jones.

The legendary Academy Award-winning animation director and artist Chuck Jones (1912–2002) created some of the most memorable characters, films, and short cartoons in animation history. Through his mastery of timing, character expression, and visual storytelling, Jones helped define the Golden Age of Animation and established a legacy that continues to influence artists and animators around the world.

The inspiration for this artwork comes from the landmark 1949 animated short Fast and Furry-ous, directed by Chuck Jones and featuring Wile E. Coyote in his first pursuit of the Road Runner. The short established the enduring chase dynamic between the brilliant but perpetually frustrated Coyote and the impossibly fast Road Runner, laying the foundation for one of animation’s most iconic rivalries.

As a Director’s Cut, this edition offers collectors a special presentation of one of Chuck Jones’ most important Looney Tunes creations. The artwork captures the wit, character, and visual energy that made the Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner series a defining achievement of Jones’ career.
