The Official Chuck Jones Virtual Experience proudly presents “An Elephant’s Faithful One Hundred Percent!,” a limited-edition artwork by the author and artist Dr. Seuss.
Theodor Seuss Geisel (1904–1991), known as Dr. Seuss, is celebrated for his contributions as a writer, poet, and cartoonist. He created 46 unforgettable children’s books filled with imaginative characters, clever rhymes, and timeless lessons. Beyond his books, Dr. Seuss brought his creativity to television, film, and fine art, earning his place as a true cultural icon.
This limited-edition artwork comes from a Dr. Seuss original illustration and celebrates Horton the Elephant, the first iconic character from Horton Hatches an Egg (1940). The artwork captures Horton’s loyal, gentle, and steadfast personality as he fulfills his promise to protect the egg, exemplifying the timeless themes of faithfulness, perseverance, and kindness that have made Horton a beloved character for generations.
.An elephant’s faithful, one hundred percent.’ became not just Horton’s promise, but Ted’s guiding principle. Elephants had appeared throughout Ted’s work long before Horton took center stage. They surfaced in advertising illustrations, experimental drawings, and early compositions. Horton, however, was different.
The artwork showcases Seuss’s signature whimsy, inventive line work, and playful proportions, reflecting the creative genius that continues to inspire readers, collectors, and artists alike.
An Elephant’s Faithful One Hundred Percent! Certificate of Authenticity accompanies Limited-Edition artwork.
